Mute all services

Franz can silence every service at once from the sidebar, without opening each one. In the workspace sidebar, find the Mute all services button, marked with a speaker icon. Select it once and Franz mutes all your services together.

The button is a single toggle. While everything is muted it reads Unmute all services and shows a crossed-out speaker. Select it again to turn notifications back on for all services. There is no right-click or hidden menu: the control is this one button in the sidebar.

Mute all is global and applies across your workspaces and services at the same time. It is the fastest way to go quiet for focus time or a meeting, and you turn it back on the same way.

To silence only one service instead of all of them, leave mute all off and change that single service's own notification setting instead. The per-service notification switch is separate from the global mute, so the two do not interfere when you use them as intended.
