Delete your account or export your data
Use Franz privacy settings to request an account export, confirm deletion with your password, and understand which service data stays elsewhere.
Back to SupportFranz provides privacy controls for exporting your account data and deleting your Franz account. Use these controls from the profile account page after signing in to your account on the website.
An account export gives you a copy of the Franz account data that Franz stores for your profile and sync setup. That can include account details, workspace and service configuration, subscription-related account state, and other Franz-controlled records connected to your account. It does not export the message history of third-party services, because those messages are controlled by the service provider. The Privacy Statement explains the broader data handling policy.
Account deletion removes the Franz account record and the Franz-controlled sync data connected to it. Because deletion is destructive, the flow asks you to confirm with your password before the request is accepted. Read the confirmation screen carefully before you continue.
Deletion is intended to be irreversible once completed. If you only want to reset the desktop app on one computer, remove local app data or sign out on that device instead of deleting the account. If you want to stop using one connected service inside Franz, remove that service from the relevant workspace.
After deleting your Franz account, use each connected provider's own account or privacy settings for service-side data such as messages, attachments, contacts, and profile details.
