Create and switch workspaces
Create workspaces in Franz, switch between them, and keep service groups separated so each work context shows only the tabs that belong there.
Back to SupportWorkspaces let you keep different parts of your day separate. You might use one workspace for your main job, another for personal messages, and another for a client or side project. Each workspace has its own visible set of service tabs, so switching context does not require signing out of Slack, Gmail, WhatsApp, or any other service.
To create one, open Franz and go to Settings -> Workspaces. Choose Add workspace, give it a clear name, then save the workspace details. Franz opens the workspace settings page after creation so you can adjust the icon, color, lock setting, and the tabs that should belong to it.
Use the workspace switcher in the main sidebar to move between workspaces. When you switch, Franz changes the visible service list to match that workspace. The services themselves stay installed in Franz; the workspace controls where their tabs appear.
If a new workspace looks empty, add services to it from the workspace settings page or from the individual service settings page. A service can belong to more than one workspace, which is useful when the same account belongs in several contexts. Keep names simple and task based, because they become the quickest way to confirm that you are working in the right place.
