Complete Discord two-factor login
Complete Discord two-factor login in Franz with passkeys or authenticator codes, and understand why trusted-device cookies may expire later.
Back to SupportDiscord can ask for a second factor after you enter your email and password. Use the same method you use in the browser: a passkey, authenticator app code, backup code, or another enabled two-factor method. Keep the Discord service open in Franz while you finish the prompt.
If a passkey prompt opens through the operating system or browser, complete it there and return to Franz. Some passkey flows briefly move focus away from the service window. Wait for Discord to confirm the login before reloading, because a reload can restart the verification step.
When an authenticator code is rejected, check the device time on the phone that generates the code. Time drift can make one-time codes fail even when the password is correct. If you are using a backup code, make sure it has not already been used.
Discord may remember the Franz session as a trusted device, but that trust is stored in cookies and can expire. If Discord asks for two-factor login again later, complete the prompt again rather than clearing all service data first.
