Find the right Slack workspace URL

Slack workspaces use their own workspace address, usually in the form your-workspace.slack.com. When Franz asks for the workspace URL, enter the workspace part you normally see in the browser address bar. Do not enter a channel URL, an invitation URL, or the email address you use for Slack.

If Slack says the workspace cannot be found, check the spelling and make sure the address ends in .slack.com. Some organizations use Enterprise Grid or a custom sign-in page, but the workspace still redirects from the Slack address used by that organization.

For multiple Slack workspaces, add each workspace as its own Slack service in Franz. Switching workspaces inside one Slack session can work, but separate Franz services keep notifications, unread counts, and workspace identity clearer. This also makes it easier to pin different teams into different Franz workspaces.

If your company manages Slack sign-in through single sign-on, complete the browser redirect shown by Slack and return to Franz when the session finishes. Organization policies can require re-authentication from time to time.
