Reset Franz user data on Windows
Reset Franz user data on Windows by backing up app-state files, clearing service partitions, and knowing what local data is removed before restart.

Franz stores local desktop data in %APPDATA%\Franz. That folder contains app state, service partitions, caches, cookies, local storage, and service worker data created by the embedded browser sessions. Your Franz account, plan, and synced service list are account data. Service messages and provider accounts stay with the services themselves.
Use this recovery path when Franz starts into a broken local state, services stay blank, a login loop survives normal reloads, or a service keeps a corrupted web session. Close Franz first. Check the tray area as well, because closing the window may leave Franz running in the background.
Start with the app state files. Press Win + R, enter %APPDATA%\Franz, and press Enter. Create a folder on your Desktop named Franz recovery backup. Move app-state.json and app-state.json.backup into that backup folder if they exist. Do not delete the whole Franz folder yet.
Open Franz again. If the shell state was the problem, Franz rebuilds the missing state files. Sign in if needed and wait for account sync to restore your services. Keep the backup until you have confirmed that windows, workspaces, and services behave normally.
If the issue remains, close Franz again from the tray. Return to %APPDATA%\Franz and move the partitions folder into your Desktop backup. Partitions hold per-service browser data such as cookies, local storage, cache, and service worker registrations. Clearing them signs services out and removes broken web state.
Start Franz after moving partitions. Open the affected services and sign in again. If you only need to recover one service and can identify its partition folder, move just that folder instead of all partitions. If the reset does not improve anything, quit Franz and move the backed-up files back to %APPDATA%\Franz.
