• Linux: "net::ERR_FAILED" when signing in or adding a service Solved

  On some Linux distributions the AppImage can't reach the internet because a system security library (NSS) is missing. Quick fix: run `sudo apt install libnss3` in a terminal and relaunch Franz. A self-contained build that needs no extra steps is on the way.

• Franz 5 sign-in on Franz 6 Solved

  A small number of long-time Franz 5 accounts are running into errors when signing in to Franz 6. We're tracing it now and will roll out a fix as soon as possible.

• Signal stuck on the loading screen Solved

  We've pinpointed the cause and the fix ships with Franz 6.0.3, landing in the next few days. Nothing to do on your side — your messages and history are safe.

• Franz 5 subscriptions in Franz 6 Solved

  A handful of paid Franz 5 customers aren't seeing their subscription recognized in Franz 6 yet. We're tracking it down and your plan will be honored — no need to repurchase.

• Signal on Windows won't start

  We're investigating an issue on Windows that prevents the Signal service from starting. We're on it and will ship a fix as soon as we have one.

• AI assistant error with local models

  Some users running local models see "Something went wrong: There was a problem processing your request." We're already investigating and will ship a fix as soon as we have one.
