Manage, cancel, or update billing

Billing changes start from your Franz profile. This keeps the action tied to the signed-in account and helps prevent updates on the wrong subscription.

Open billing management

Sign in on the Franz website, open your profile, and choose the billing section. If your account has an active subscription or trial, the page shows the current plan, renewal status, and a management button.

The management button opens a secure billing page for your subscription. Use it to update payment details, review invoices where available, change plans, or cancel renewal.

Change your payment method

Open the billing management flow from the profile billing page and choose the payment method option. After saving the new details, return to Franz and refresh the billing page if the latest state is not visible yet.

Change or cancel a plan

Plan changes and cancellation also start from the same billing management flow. Review the plan name, renewal date, and any price change before confirming. If a change applies at the end of the current period, the billing page should show the upcoming state after the update.

For team subscriptions, use the owner's account for billing changes. Non-owner team members can view account state on the team page, but owner-only actions stay with the person who controls the subscription.
