What happened to Pro Cloud

Pro Cloud has a new name: Max. Nothing is being removed. Max includes everything Pro Cloud included, and it's where new Franz features land from here on.

If you have a Pro Cloud subscription today, you keep everything and your price never changes. Your plan is now called Max, you get the full Max feature set, and your renewal continues at the rate you signed up for. New subscribers pay €12/month (€120/year), as shown on the pricing page.

If you're on Pro from before the Max launch, you keep every feature you have today: 1Password autofill, voice dictation and sender intelligence, all at your unchanged €6/month. You also get what new Pro gets: plain snippets synced with your account, and Smart Translate with your own model. Nothing you have is taken away.

New Pro subscriptions include the same daily workspace: unlimited services and workspaces, plain snippets, Smart Translate, and on supported platforms 1Password autofill and dictation. The one thing new Pro doesn't include is sender intelligence, which is part of Max. Smart snippets, the ones that fill in the person, topic and date from the conversation, are new and part of Max as well. Pro vs Max has the full comparison.

Lifetime licenses are unchanged. Lifetime includes the software: every service and workspace, plain and smart snippets, Smart Translate with your own model, and the native integrations on their supported platforms. Hosted Franz Cloud AI stays an optional add-on for Lifetime, as hosted inference is ongoing infrastructure that a one-time purchase doesn't cover. There's nothing you need to switch or upgrade.

If your account is on one of the older personal or premium plans, nothing changes for you either. Your features and your billing stay exactly as they are.

One thing to know before you cancel: your locked-in rate is tied to the subscription you have now. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you're buying the current plans at the current prices. You can review your subscription any time on your billing page.
